Composition II in Red, Blue, and Yellow

Piet Mondrian(1872-1944) is an artist from the Netherlands who was born in Amersfoort and then later moved and died in New York City. He is a painter that contributed to the De Stijl movement, also known as neoplasticism. It promoted Utopian society, simplicity in color&form, and pure abstraction.
